GOLDEN FALCON BASEBALL
CAMP
Linden Department of Public Property and Community
Services is once again proud to present the Golden Falcon Baseball Camp
in Linden. The dates of the camp are Monday, July 19th to Thursday, July
22nd (Rain Date, Friday, July 23rd.) The times for each day are 9:00am –
2:00pm. The camp will be held at the Edward Flanagan Little League
Complex, So. Stiles Street in Linden. The camp is for boys and girls who
will be completing grades K-8 during the 2009-2010 school year.
The Golden Falcon Baseball Camp will be starting its 12th year of
developing youth in the game of Baseball. The camp has multiple
locations throughout Northern New Jersey. This is the second year of
having the baseball camp in Linden.
The camp is under the direction of Ed Ward, the Former Assistant
Baseball Coach at Division I New Jersey Institute of Technology. Coach
Ward recently completed his 28th season of coaching on the College &
High School levels. Quality instruction will be given by Coach Ward’s
Staff and Former Players along with top High School Coaches from
Northern New Jersey.
Every camper will receive a T-Shirt, a camp certificate, and a written
evaluation on their performance for the week. The camp offers special
awards for the campers that will be given throughout the four days of
camp.
The tuition for the camp is an affordable $150.00. For more information

LINDEN HALLOWEEN PARADE COMMITTEE
The members of the
Linden Halloween Parade Committee held their annual reorganization
meeting on November 30, 2011. The following slate of officers was
proposed and unanimously voted upon: President Carl Pereira. Vice
President Tom Walker, Treasurer Paul Curley, Secretary Nancy Dziedzic,
and Trustees Tom Solsky and Audrey Pereira.
Their first action was
to announce that the 62nd Annual Halloween Parade would be
held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 and that regular Halloween Parade
Committee meetings would be held at 7:00pm at the Linden Public Library,
31 E. Henry Street in the Bernice Bedrick Room on the following dates:

All
residents will be required to purchase new registration cards for 2009.
3rd
through 12th grades - $1.00 Annual
9th through 12th grades - $1.00 Fitness
Adults 18 & Over - $10.00 Annual
Fitness & Exercise - $10.00 Annual
Senior Citizens - No Charge

asks that all residents
create their CommunityPass account and save their username & password
email notification so that you can easily login & register for
Recreation programs in the future.
All 3rd through 12th grade students and adults must purchase
registration cards
and present school I.D. cards in order to utilize the following
facilities and programs:

Adults not having a photo drivers license will be issued a photo I.D. at
the time of registration. Proof of Linden residency is required at this
time.
