On January 31, 2012 at 11:40 AM the Northfield Bank, 501 N. Wood Ave. was robbed by a male who displayed a note demanding money. The male then walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male, approx. age 40, 5’7”, 150 lbs., scruffy-type beard, “light-colored” eyes, wearing a dark-colored puffy jacket, brown colored ballcap, and light-colored workboots. The robber is observed walking north on N. Wood Ave. and entered a white compact 4 dr. vehicle, possible temporary tag in the rear window, which had been parked in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. The vehicle is last observed travelling west on W. Henry St.
