The Linden Police Athletic League tipped off its 60th season of serving
the city's youth on January 13th and 14th.
This year, the PAL's basketball program has grown larger than ever, with
multiple teams and age brackets. While the youngest learn the basics of
the game, the older children sharpen their skills and work on the
fundamentals of solid offense and defense. Most importantly, though, all
of the children also learn to respect their teammates, opponents, and
officials in a safe atmosphere that encourages friendship, cooperation,
and competition.
