On July 20, 2010 at 7:37 PM officers responded to the Shop-Rite, 637 W. Edgar Rd. on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Loss Prevention personnel told the officers that they observed a female, identified as Debra Davis, age 50, of Roselle, conceal items in her black bag and attempt to leave the store without paying for them. She was found to be in possession of 14 bottles of Visine Allergy drops, 9 bottles of Nyquil liquid, 10 bottles of Visine Eye Drops, and 10 bottles of Tylenol tablets, total value is $305.00. She was placed under arrest and held on $5,000.00 bail pending transfer to the Union County jail. She has a court date set for July 28, 2010 at 9 AM. She was also found to have a contempt warrant out of Somerset County with a bail amount of $1,350.00.
