On
July 11, 2010 at 10:05PM officers responded to the 7 Days Deli, 100 E.
St. George Ave on a report of a robbery. The owner/victim, male, age 47,
told police that three men entered the store and began to kick and punch
him in the face and head. They then threw the cash register to the floor
and emptied it of its cash contents, an unknown amount. They then fled
out of store and ran east on E. St. George Ave. The victim was taken to
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway and treated for a
bloody nose and facial cuts. The investigation is continuing. Any
