On
April 20, 2010 at 7:25 PM the victim, male, age 26, of Linden, pulled
into the Hess Service Station, 117 W. St. Georges Ave., and entered the
convenience store while leaving his 2008 Nissan Maxima, blue, NJ YZV87G,
with the engine running and keys in the ignition. When he exited the
store minutes later, the vehicle was gone. Investigating officers
reviewed video footage from the station and observed a thin black male
with dreadlocks and dark clothing enter the vehicle and drive off
heading east on W. St. George Ave. A search of the area for the vehicle
failed to locate it. The vehicle has tinted windows, a blue tinted
license plate cover, and 18" Giovani chrome rims. The vehicle is valued
at $40,000.00. Detective Frank A. Leporino of the Auto Crimes Squad is
