On
March 30, 2010 at 3:54 PM police responded to the Kohl’s department
store, 1901 E. Edgar Rd. on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Loss
Prevention personnel reported that they observed a female, later
identified as Diana B. Martinez, age 37, of Staten Island, N.Y., remove
5 Nintendo Wii game cartridges out of their packaging and conceal them
in a handbag along with jewelry, clothes, and shoes, total merchandise
valued at $864.92, and attempt to leave the store without paying for the
items. She was placed under arrest and released on a summons with a
Union County court date set for April 5th.
