Welcome

The Finance Department maintains a system of accounts for all departments in the City of Linden. Maintains all City bank accounts, audits receipts and disbursements of various municipal departments and the reporting thereof to the City Council. Prepares the annual budget and controls expenditures to assure budget appropriations are not exceeded. Supervises the administration of City debt and City bonds, prepares weekly payroll, provides assistance to employees regarding pension plans, deferred compensation and retirement. Maintains health benefit records and workers’ compensation claims.
