A September to RememberSaturday, September 4, beginning at 11:00 am. Street festival, classic car & motorcycle show, live entertainment, dozens of vendors, food, games, Chuck Leonard DJing in front of City Hall, face painting, kids' activities, lots more. Wood Avenue between Elizabeth Ave. and Gibbons St. in Linden. Easily accessible by NJ Transit North Jersey Coast (NY Penn to Bayhead) or Northeast Corridor (NY Penn to Trenton) trains; parking available in the train station lot.
Food: Polish kielbasa, pierogies, Italian sausage, cheese steaks, shrimp, chicken wings, pasta, hot dogs, fries, lemonade, Italian ice, cookies, and more. Rides and activities for all ages including a bounce house, rock climbing wall, remote race car track, games and sand art. Vendors selling toys, T-shirts, jewelry, candles, more. A full schedule of live entertainment, including eating contests, bands, and trophies awarded to the best classic cars and motorcycles.
