4th Ward Councilman
|
|
I was elected to council in November of
1993, and currently serving in my 4th term. A life long resident of
41 years, I graduated from Linden High School in 1979. I worked as a
Communications Consultant for Prudential Insurance Company of
America for 13 years in their Telecommunications and Information
Systems division. I am currently employed for the County of Union as
a Programmer in the Data Processing Department.
I have been married to my wife, Danie, for 12 years and I'm the father
of five children, Erika, Brianna, Ryan, Ashton, and Abigail.
During my tenure on Council I have served on the following
committee’s: Accident Review, Affordable Housing and Redevelopment,
Central Dispatch 911, Clean Communities, Engineering, Fire, liaison
to the Board of Health, liaison to the Mayor’s Youth Commission,
Shade Tree Commission, Linden Landfill, Public Works, Real Estate
and Cable, Recreation-Building & Grounds, Revenue Enhancement,
Transportation and Parking, Weights & Measures – Licenses & Permits.
I have also served as the City Council representative on the
Planning Board.
I have personally registered over 1500 voters residents city wide
with over 1200 of them living in the 4th Ward. I am very civic
minded and live by the premise that there is no exercise better for
the heart than reaching out and lifting people up.
