My name
is Christopher Kolibas. I reside at 305 West Gibbons Street. I am
Linden’s, First Ward Councilman.
I am a
1993 graduate of Linden High School, and earned my BA in Political
Science and Masters Degree in Education from Saint Peter’s College.
Currently, I teach fifth grade at School Nine in Linden. I also
coach Tennis and Swimming at Linden High School and have served as
Linden Day-Camp Supervisor. Today, much of my time is still
dedicated to the youth of Linden.
As a
long-time First Ward resident, and your representative on City
Council, I will work diligently to support and promote city
initiatives. On your behalf, I’ll make Linden an economically
stronger and safer city in which to live.
I care
deeply about our city, and take interest and pride in our homes, our
community and our property values. I will promptly respond to your
concerns and will work diligently to stimulate Linden’s growth, and
cater to the ever-changing needs of our ward.
On City
Council I serve on the following committees: Affordable Housing and
Development, Construction Code Department, Recycling, Transportation
and Parking, Vehicles and Equipment, and Weights and Measurements,
License and Permits. I am also a liaison for the Environmental
Commission, and the Mayor’s Youth Commission.
