01.31.2018 - Man Arrested While Breaking Into Home
A Newark man is charged with burglary after he allegedly attempted to break into several homes.
Gordon Hall Jr, 19, was arrested on Thursday, January 18th at about 1:30 p.m. Police responded to the area after witnesses reported that a man attempted to break into multiple houses on W. Linden Ave. Officers located Gordon in a backyard on the 300 block. Gordon ran from the scene when the Officers confronted him, but was quickly apprehended and taken into custody.

An Elizabeth man has admitted to driving drunk on the night he struck and killed a pedestrian in Linden last year before fleeing the scene of the crime, acting Union County Prosecutor Ann M. Luvera announced Tuesday.
Eduardo Perez, 33, pleaded guilty Monday to charges including second-degree vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated in connection with the death of 23-year-old Mujahid Henry of Newark.
