09.18.2017 - Defendant Convicted of Gun Charge
A Union County jury has returned a guilty verdict against a man charged with being in possession of a handgun during a 2015 traffic stop, acting Union County Prosecutor Thomas K. Isenhour announced Monday.
John A. Jorges, 67, was convicted on a charge of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon following a two-week trial before state Superior Court Judge Robert A. Kirsch and one day of jury deliberation.
09.18.2017 - Arrests Made in AMC Theater Car Vandalism Incident
Two Linden men have been arrested and charged with vandalizing vehicles in a local movie theater parking lot.
Joye Dossantos-Rosario, 21, and Kyle Williams, 22, are charged with third-degree criminal mischief after a series of vehicles were damaged at the AMC Aviation 12 Movie Theater.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19th Officers responded to S. Stiles St after patrons exited the theater and found damage to their cars. The Officers also located a video of the incident posted on Instagram.
