Certified copies of vital records may be obtained on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. only. For the request form, view the online forms.
Licenses For Marriage, Civil Union, Domestic Partnership
Effective June 1, 2013 marriage, civil union & domestic partnership applications will be taken on Thursdays, by appointment only.
Please contact our office at 908-474-8452 to schedule an appointment.
Appointments can also be made in person in the City Clerk’s office 2nd floor, City Hall.
Please be advised that there is a state mandated 72 hour waiting period that must be met prior to the release of all marriage licenses.
