September to Remember Street Festival

The Cultural & Heritage Committee is sponsoring the "September to Remember" Street Festival Sept. 27 from 11am-10pm.

Food Drive

PBA #42 and the Linden Superior Officer's Association are conducting a food drive to help local food banks. The donation can is located in the vestibule of the police department. Everyone is encouraged to support those less fortunate and donate a can or box of food.

Citizen's Response To
An Active Shooter

Linden Police officers train for Active Shooter incidents and are announcing training for a "Citizen's Response to an Active Shooter". The program can accommodate businesses, schools, churches, or any area used for social gathering. Training is provided free of charge and instructed by qualified officers.

The Linden Dog Park

The Linden Dog Park is located between South Wood Ave. and Lower Rd. next to the PAL baseball fields in Memorial Park. Cool drinking water is available. The Park has a fenced in area with lots of space to run.

Please note that a $25.00 bounced check fee will be applied to any and all services provided by the City of Linden.

NJ Special Needs
Registry

In preparation for potential emergency events, the NJOEM has created New Jersey's Special Needs Registry for Disasters - a free, voluntary and confidential program designed to assist people with special needs who may find it difficult to get to safety in the event of an emergency.

Railroad Station
Parking Permit

The City will issue a three (3) month Railroad Station Parking Permit ONLY for the SOUTHBOUND / ELIZABETH Avenue side for non-numbered spaces at the beginning of each quarter.
